COMMENT: Excessive energy is a thing. Raise two boys and you’ll know all about it. The Chillafish BMXie and SkatieSkootie are new to the Australian market- and are a very welcome addition to the wheeled toy sector. The BMXie has a real BMX-styled bicycle frame, with oversized tubing, yet it’s extremely lightweight. It has an adjustable seat (that can be easily altered without tools) and has an integrated footrest and footbrake. The SkatieSkootie is totally customisable as it comes with three different coloured deck plates and three different tail angles. The handlebar can be removed without tools, turning it from a scooter to a skateboard, whilst you’re out and about. Both the BMXie and the SkatieSkootie provide children (aged 2-5 years) with an opportunity to develop their coordination, whilst letting them blow off steam. That’s a win-win in this hyped household.
